Lenovo ThinkCentre Tower i7-6700

The Lenovo ThinkCentre Tower is a desktop computer built around a 6th-generation Intel Core i7-6700 processor that reaches 4.00 GHz. It includes 16 GB of DDR4 memory and a 1 TB SSD for the operating system and applications. An NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050Ti graphics card handles visual output. The system ships with Windows 11 Pro 64-bit installed.

Tower chassis with DisplayPort and USB 2.0

The tower form factor fits on or under a desk while exposing two DisplayPort connectors for monitors. Six USB 2.0 ports provide legacy peripheral support for keyboards, mice and printers. A single RJ-45 jack handles wired networking and a combo audio jack serves headsets. Wireless keyboard and mouse are included in the box.

Entry 1050Ti graphics for lighter workloads

The GTX 1050Ti suits 1080p office tasks, video playback and older game titles at modest settings. It replaces integrated graphics and adds dedicated video memory for smoother multi-monitor use. Buyers who need more storage or faster rendering for modern titles should consider a higher-tier card. The 30-day warranty covers initial hardware verification.

Questions about this item

Does the GTX 1050Ti use PCIe 2.0 or 3.0, and what bandwidth limit applies?

The GTX 1050Ti connects via the motherboard PCIe slot; practical throughput is capped by the 6th-generation platform and chipset lanes.

Will this tower case fit a standard ATX power supply if I upgrade later?

The Lenovo ThinkCentre tower uses a proprietary power-supply form factor, so a standard ATX unit will not mount without an adapter bracket.

How do I install the GTX 1050Ti driver without getting a black screen on first boot?

Boot into Windows 11 Pro, let the generic driver load, then run the NVIDIA installer; skipping the clean-install option often leaves the old stub and causes no signal.
