Suits users with listed ThinkPads who already own

The dock requires a separate 135 W AC adapter that is not included in the package. Buyers who do not have a compatible power supply or who need a dock that ships with its own adapter should look at something else. The unit is sold as Grade B condition and may show scratches or dents.

135 W power delivery via external adapter only

This docking station delivers up to 135 W of power to the connected laptop but only when an external 135 W AC adapter is plugged into its DC-in port. Without that adapter the dock cannot charge the laptop, so the presence of a suitable power supply is the single specification that decides whether this is the right part.
