Ready-to-work 14.0" business laptop

The Lenovo ThinkPad L14 arrives with Windows 10 Pro installed and an Intel Core i7-10510U quad-core processor that reaches 4.9GHz turbo frequency. It suits mobile professionals who need a lightweight 14.0" IPS FHD display, 8GB DDR4 memory and a 128GB NVMe SSD for daily office tasks. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics handles standard productivity and video playback. A 720p webcam, fingerprint reader and HDMI output complete the essential feature set.

No user installation required

The system ships fully assembled with the upgraded 128GB NVMe SSD already fitted and the operating system configured. Memory uses SO-DIMM DDR4 at 2400 speed; the chassis supports up to 32GB total if a future upgrade is desired. Because the manufacturer box was opened only for this upgrade and inspection, the hardware is ready to use immediately. No driver hunting or BIOS changes are needed for the standard configuration.

Limited by integrated graphics

Intel UHD Graphics shares system memory and cannot drive demanding 3D workloads or multiple high-resolution external displays beyond the HDMI port. The single NVMe slot means storage expansion requires replacing the 128GB drive rather than adding a second one. Buyers who need discrete GPU performance, more than 32GB RAM or additional internal drive bays should consider a larger workstation-class chassis.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the 14.0" IPS FHD display and Intel Core i7-10510U processor are detected correctly after first boot?

Open Windows Settings > System > Display to verify 1920 x 1080 resolution and IPS panel recognition, then check Task Manager > Performance > CPU to confirm the i7-10510U name, 4 cores and 4.9GHz turbo frequency

What components are included with the laptop and what must I purchase separately for memory expansion?

The laptop ships with Windows 10 Pro installed, 8GB DDR4 SO-DIMM memory at 2400 speed, 128GB NVMe SSD, 720p webcam, fingerprint reader, HDMI port and card reader; to reach the 32GB maximum supported memory you need to buy additional DDR4 SO-DIMM modules

Should I choose the 8GB memory and 128GB NVMe SSD configuration or plan an immediate upgrade to the 32GB maximum?

The 8GB DDR4 and 128GB NVMe SSD suit everyday office tasks and light multitasking; select the 32GB DDR4 upgrade if you run virtual machines, large datasets or memory-intensive applications that exceed the base capacity
