16-inch Copilot+ PC

The Lenovo ThinkPad L16 AI laptop is a 16-inch Copilot+ PC built for business users who need on-device AI acceleration. An Intel Core Ultra 5 225U processor with 12 cores and a dedicated NPU handles modern workloads at up to 4.8 GHz. Sixteen GB of DDR5 memory and a 512 GB SSD provide fast boot and multitasking performance. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed.

Touchscreen, USB-C and Ethernet

The 1920 x 1200 FHD+ touchscreen at 60 Hz supports direct input for presentations and annotation. Connectivity includes two USB Type-C ports, one USB 3.0 Type-A, two USB 2.0 Type-A, HDMI, a headset jack and a wired Ethernet port. Wi-Fi 6 handles wireless networking. No card reader or optical drive is fitted, so external adapters are required for those media.

Integrated graphics and 60 Hz panel

Intel integrated graphics drive the 16-inch panel without a discrete GPU, keeping thermals and power draw modest for office tasks. The 60 Hz refresh rate suits productivity rather than high-motion content. A numeric keypad and backlit keyboard complete the input layout. The chassis measures 14.04 x 0.89 x 0.89 inches and weighs 3.96 lbs.

Questions about this item

How long will the Intel Core Ultra 5 225U sustain its 4.8 GHz turbo before thermals throttle it?

The processor reaches 4.80 GHz turbo under load; actual sustained speed depends on the laptop's cooling design and workload.

What fan noise and surface temperatures should I expect after hours of continuous work?

Fan profile and chassis temperatures vary with workload; the thin 0.89 inch chassis uses standard business-class cooling.

The spec lists DDR5 SODIMM — do I need to supply my own modules or is the 16 GB already installed?

16 GB DDR5 SODIMM is factory-installed; the board supports up to 64 GB total if you add more later.
