ThinkPad P14s Gen 2 14" Touchscreen

The Lenovo ThinkPad P14s Gen 2 is a 14.0 inch mobile workstation with a 1920 x 1080 IPS touchscreen running at 60 Hz. An AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 5850U eight-core processor reaches 4.4 GHz turbo and is paired with 32GB DDR4 memory and a 2TB NVMe drive. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed.

Upgrade from integrated-graphics ultraportables

The AMD Radeon graphics and 16-thread CPU handle heavier creative workloads than typical thin-and-light notebooks. The jump is worthwhile when you need touchscreen input plus sustained multi-core performance for code compilation or video timelines away from a desk.

Suits developers and designers needing

The FHD IPS panel and 32GB RAM support colour-critical work and large project files on the move. Buyers who require discrete GPU compute for 3D rendering or a larger display for timeline editing should look at something else.

Questions about this item

What are the USB port types and counts on the P14s Gen 2?

The laptop provides two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, one of which is always-on for charging, and two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C ports that also carry video and power delivery.

How is Windows 11 Pro installed and activated on this unit?

The machine ships with a clean, fully activated Windows 11 Pro installation; the licence is tied to the hardware so no product key entry is required during first boot.

Can the 32 GB DDR4 memory or 2 TB NVMe storage be upgraded later?

The 32 GB DDR4 is soldered and cannot be expanded; the 2 TB NVMe drive sits in a removable M.2 slot and can be replaced with a larger module.
