What This Is

This is a new 14.0 inch business laptop with a 1920 x 1080 touchscreen, AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 5850U processor, 16GB DDR4 memory and 1TB NVMe storage. It ships with Windows 11 Pro and integrated AMD Radeon graphics for professional workloads.

Who It Suits

It suits mobile professionals who need a Full HD touch display, eight processing cores and a fast NVMe drive in a standard 14 inch chassis. Buyers who need user-replaceable memory or a discrete graphics card should look elsewhere because the single memory slot is fully occupied and graphics are integrated.

Deciding Specification

The soldered 16GB DDR4 configuration with zero free slots decides fit: if your workflow demands more than 16GB today, this unit cannot be upgraded internally despite the processor supporting up to 48 GB.

Questions about this item

How loud and hot does the AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 5850U get when the laptop runs all day?

The 8-core processor has a 4.4 GHz turbo frequency and integrated AMD Radeon Graphics; typical business workloads keep fan noise moderate and surface temperatures within comfortable limits for a 14.0" chassis.

What must I already own to use the two USB 3.2 Type-C Gen 2 ports for video and data?

You need USB-C cables or adapters that support DisplayPort Alt Mode and USB 3.2 Gen 2 speeds; the ports also accept USB Power Delivery chargers if you prefer a spare brick.

Will my older USB-A peripherals work with the two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports?

Yes, both USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports are backward compatible with USB 2.0 and 3.0 devices, and one stays powered for charging phones while the laptop sleeps.
