Mobile Workstation with NPU

The Lenovo ThinkPad P14s Gen 6 21QT006WUS is a 14.5" mobile workstation built around an Intel Core Ultra 7 255H processor with an integrated Neural Processing Unit for AI Boost workloads. It ships with 32GB DDR5 6400 memory, a 1TB SSD and Windows 11 Pro, targeting professionals who need certified graphics and local AI acceleration in a portable chassis.

Serviceable Memory and Port Access

The bottom cover removes with standard Torx screws, exposing two SODIMM slots though the 32GB configuration may occupy both, and the single M.2 2280 slot for storage upgrades. Thunderbolt 4 ports require certified cables for full 40Gb/s throughput; passive cables longer than 0.8m often drop to USB speeds. Driver stacks for the RTX PRO 500 6GB GDDR7 and Wi-Fi 7 802.11be should be updated from Lenovo Vantage before first use to avoid enumeration issues on docks.

Suited for ISV Apps and Field AI

This unit suits engineers running ISV-certified applications, developers leveraging the NPU for on-device inference, and consultants who need Gigabit Ethernet, HDMI and dual Thunderbolt 4 in a 3.62 lb package. Buyers who want a higher refresh panel, discrete GPU memory beyond 6GB, or user-replaceable battery modules should look at larger mobile workstation classes.
