Mobile workstation for intensive workloads

The Lenovo ThinkPad P15 20SUS5W300 is a 15.6 inch mobile workstation built on the Intel vPro platform. It runs a 6-core Intel Core i7-10750H processor at 2.60 GHz with 32 GB of DDR4 2933 memory. A 1 TB PCIe SSD provides primary storage, while an NVIDIA Quadro T1000 4 GB GPU handles dedicated graphics. The system ships with Windows 10 Pro.

Suited for ISV-certified apps.

This configuration targets engineers and professionals running ISV-certified applications such as AutoCAD, CATIA and Creo. The 600-nit UHD IPS panel with Dolby Vision and HDR 400 supports colour-critical work. The 6.00 lb chassis and workstation-class thermals make it less suitable for buyers who need a lightweight device for frequent travel or all-day battery operation away from power.

3840 x 2160 600-nit display drives GPU

The 15.6 inch 3840 x 2160 panel at 600 nits is the specification that determines suitability. It demands more from the Quadro T1000 4 GB than lower-resolution screens and reduces unplugged runtime. Buyers who need higher GPU memory for large models or longer battery life should look at configurations with a larger frame buffer or a lower-resolution display.
