Mobile workstation with dual storage

The ThinkPad P53 combines an Intel Core i7-9750H six-core processor at 2.60 GHz with 32GB DDR4 memory and a 1TB NVME drive plus 2TB HDD. A 15.6" FHD IPS panel at 1920 x 1080 resolution provides colour-accurate visuals. Windows 10 Pro and a fingerprint reader complete the business-ready package.

Suits engineers and analysts needing certified

The NVIDIA Quadro T1000 with 4GB video memory drives CAD, BIM and data-science workloads that require ISV-certified drivers. Buyers who want a touchscreen or higher refresh-rate display should look elsewhere. The non-touch FHD panel and 72% colour gamut limit HDR content creation.

Quadro T1000 4GB GPU decides fit

This discrete professional GPU handles 3D modelling, rendering and GPU-accelerated compute within its 4GB frame buffer. Projects exceeding that video memory will throttle or fail. Verify your application’s VRAM requirement before purchasing.

Questions about this item

Will the 15.6" FHD IPS display and NVIDIA Quadro T1000 4GB GPU drive my older 1080p external monitor without scaling issues?

The 1920 x 1080 native resolution matches standard 1080p panels, so the Quadro T1000 will output pixel-perfect image quality on your existing monitor.

How can I verify the Intel Core i7-9750H is hitting its 4.5 GHz turbo under load after setup?

Open Task Manager's Performance tab or a hardware monitor; sustained all-core speeds near 4.5 GHz confirm the hexa-core processor is boosting as specified.

Does the box include a second NVME drive for the empty slot, or must I purchase one separately?

The system ships with 1TB NVME and 2TB HDD already installed; any additional NVME storage would be a separate purchase.
