Mobile workstation with dual storage

The Lenovo ThinkPad P53 combines a six-core Intel Core i7-9850H processor with 32GB DDR4 memory and two separate solid-state drives totalling 4TB. A 15.6" FHD IPS panel running at 1920x1080 and an NVIDIA Quadro T1000 graphics card with 4GB video memory complete the core specification. Windows 10 Pro and a fingerprint reader are included.

Suits ISV-certified workloads

Engineers, analysts and creators who rely on Quadro driver stability for CAD, simulation or data-science tasks will find the 12MB CPU cache and 4.6GHz turbo frequency effective. Buyers who need more video memory for large assemblies or GPU rendering should look elsewhere, as the T1000 provides 4GB only.

NVIDIA Quadro T1000 4GB GPU

The discrete T1000 card delivers certified drivers for professional applications and 4GB dedicated video memory. It handles viewport manipulation and light compute workloads within that memory limit. If a project requires a larger frame buffer, this graphics option will be the limiting factor.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the i7-9850H is reaching its 4.6 GHz turbo under load?

Open Task Manager's Performance tab or a hardware monitor and watch the CPU frequency climb to 4.6 GHz while running a rendering or compilation workload.

Does the package include both the 2TB NVME and the 2TB 2.5-inch SSD already installed?

Yes — the workstation ships with a 2TB NVME drive plus a second 2TB 2.5-inch SSD fitted, giving 4TB total storage out of the box.

Is the 32GB DDR4 configuration soldered or socketed for future upgrades?

The 32GB DDR4 memory uses SO-DIMM slots, so you can add or replace modules later if you need more capacity.
