Workstation laptop with 128GB DDR4

The Lenovo ThinkPad P53 is a mobile workstation built around a six-core Intel Core i7-9750H processor that reaches 4.5 GHz turbo frequency. It ships with 128GB of DDR4 memory and a dual-drive layout of 512GB NVME plus 4TB 2.5-inch SSD storage. The 15.6-inch FHD IPS panel runs at 1920x1080 resolution, and graphics are handled by an NVIDIA Quadro T2000 with 4GB video memory. Linux Mint comes pre-installed and a fingerprint reader is integrated.

Professionals needing large memory

This configuration suits engineers, data scientists and content creators who rely on ISV-certified Quadro drivers and need 128GB RAM for large datasets or virtual machines. The anti-glare IPS display with 72% colour gamut supports colour-critical work. Buyers who require a touchscreen or a higher refresh-rate panel will need an alternative model.

128GB DDR4 memory capacity

The single specification that decides fit is the 128GB DDR4 memory capacity, which is soldered and not user-expandable. If your workload demands more than 128GB of system memory, this unit cannot be upgraded to meet that requirement.

Questions about this item

Does the box include the 512GB NVME and 4TB 2.5 inch SSD already installed or must I buy them separately?

The unit ships with both the 512GB NVME and the 4TB 2.5 inch SSD fitted inside the chassis, so no extra storage purchase is required.

Should I choose the 128GB DDR4 configuration or is a smaller memory option available for this model?

This specific listing only offers the 128GB DDR4 configuration; no lower-capacity memory variant is shown for this part number.

What does the 4.5 GHz turbo figure mean when the laptop is rendering a heavy 3D scene?

The 4.5 GHz turbo is the maximum single-core frequency the i7-9750H can reach under thermal headroom, giving short bursts of extra speed during peak render loads.
