Mobile workstation with 128GB DDR4

This Lenovo ThinkPad P53 is a 15.6-inch mobile workstation running Windows 10 Pro. It pairs a hexa-core Intel Core i7-9750H reaching 4.5GHz with 128GB of DDR4 memory and an NVIDIA Quadro T1000 4GB GPU. Storage combines a 256GB NVME drive and a 1TB 2.5-inch SSD.

Professionals needing certified graphics

The ISV-certified Quadro T1000 and 128GB RAM suit engineers running CAD, BIM or data-science workloads on the move. The non-touch 1920x1080 IPS panel covers 72% colour gamut at 300 nits. Buyers who require a touchscreen, higher GPU memory or a newer Windows version should look elsewhere.

128GB DDR4 memory capacity

The single spec that decides fit is the 128GB DDR4 configuration, which is soldered and not user-expandable. If your workflow demands more than 128GB or you need upgradeable slots, this unit will not meet that requirement.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 256GB NVME plus 1TB SSD configuration for this ThinkPad P53?

This unit ships with a 256GB NVME drive and a separate 1TB 2.5-inch SSD, giving fast boot space and a large secondary volume in one laptop.

What does the 4.5GHz turbo figure mean for daily work on the i7-9750H?

The six-core processor can reach 4.5GHz on short bursts, so heavy compiles or renders get a speed lift before thermals settle back to base clocks.

How does the DDR4 memory interface affect the 128GB capacity in this machine?

The 128GB of DDR4 runs at the platform's supported data rate, feeding all six cores without a memory bottleneck for large datasets.
