Mobile Workstation for Data-Intensive Tasks

The Lenovo ThinkPad P53 is a mobile workstation built for professionals who render complex scenes or run AI workloads. Its Intel Core i7-9750H processor reaches 4.5 GHz across six cores with 12MB cache. The system includes 16GB DDR4 memory and Windows 10 Pro 64-bit for immediate deployment.

Dual-Drive Storage Configuration

The defining specification is the combined 1TB NVME plus 2TB 2.5-inch SSD storage array. This factory-fitted layout provides high-speed boot and application drive space alongside a large secondary volume for project files. Buyers who need a single larger NVME module or additional drive bays will not find that flexibility here.

Certified Connectivity and Display

WiFi-6 certification handles dense wireless environments without extra hardware. The 15.6-inch FHD IPS panel delivers 500 nits brightness with HDR Dolby Vision and 72% colour gamut for colour-critical review. A fingerprint reader and discrete TPM secure the platform. The non-touch screen and fixed GPU mean the chassis suits stationary desk use more than frequent tablet-mode interaction.

Questions about this item

How does the 4.5 GHz turbo frequency behave when the six-core i7-9750H is inside the P53 chassis?

The processor can reach 4.5 GHz on active cores while thermal headroom allows, giving short bursts of peak speed for compile jobs or simulation steps before settling to a sustained level.

What does the 500-nit FHD IPS panel mean for colour work on this 15.6" display?

The screen covers 72 % colour gamut at 500 nits with HDR Dolby Vision support, so bright highlights and accurate mid-tones are visible without an external monitor.

Will the 2.5-inch 2 TB SSD fit alongside the 1 TB NVME drive in the P53?

Yes, the chassis provides both an M.2 slot for the NVME drive and a 2.5-inch bay for the 2 TB SSD, giving 3 TB total internal storage.
