Mobile workstation for creators

The Lenovo ThinkPad P53 is a 15.6 inch mobile workstation running Windows 10 Pro. It combines a six-core Intel Core i7-9750H processor with 16GB DDR4 memory and an NVIDIA Quadro T2000 graphics card with 4GB video memory. A 1920 x 1080 IPS display and dual-drive storage complete the package.

Professionals needing certified graphics

This system suits engineers, designers and analysts who rely on ISV-certified drivers for CAD, simulation or rendering workloads. The Quadro T2000 and hexa-core CPU handle moderate 3D models and data-intensive AI tasks. Buyers who want more storage than the supplied 512GB NVME plus 4TB 2.5 inch SSD, or who require a higher-resolution panel, should look at other configurations.

Desk-ready expandability

The laptop delivers workstation-class performance in a single chassis, freeing desk space that a separate tower and monitor would occupy. WiFi-6 connectivity supports fast wireless links in crowded offices, while the fingerprint reader and dTPM encrypt data without extra peripherals. Dolby Atmos speakers provide audio output for content review, reducing the need for external speakers during mobile sessions.

Questions about this item

What operating system must already be licensed on my network to use the pre-installed Windows 10 Pro on this P53?

Windows 10 Pro 64-bit is already installed and activated on the laptop, so no separate network licence is required to start working.

Will the 15.6" 1920x1080 IPS panel and Quadro T2000 4GB GPU drive my older 1080p external monitor without scaling issues?

Yes, the T2000 supports up to four external displays at 4K resolution, so a 1080p monitor will run at its native 1920x1080 without scaling problems.

How can I confirm the 512GB NVME drive is the active boot device after first power-on?

Open Task Manager, select the Performance tab, choose the C: drive and verify the reported capacity is approximately 512GB and the type shows NVMe.
