Mobile workstation with dual storage

The Lenovo ThinkPad P53 is a 15.6 inch mobile workstation running Windows 10 Pro. It combines a 2.60 GHz Intel Core i7-9750H six-core processor with 32GB DDR4 memory and an NVIDIA Quadro T1000 graphics card with 4GB video memory. Storage totals 5TB across a 1TB NVME drive and a 4TB 2.5 inch SSD. The FHD IPS display reaches 500 nits brightness with HDR Dolby Vision and 72% colour gamut.

Engineers and creators needing capacity

This suits professionals who require ISV-certified graphics, a fingerprint reader and large local storage for datasets or media projects in a single chassis. Buyers who need a touchscreen, a higher-resolution panel or a lighter ultraportable form factor should look at something else. The non-touch 1920 x 1080 screen and workstation-class weight limit appeal for frequent travel or tablet-style interaction.

5TB combined SSD storage decides fit

The single specification that determines suitability is the 1TB NVME plus 4TB 2.5 inch SSD configuration, delivering 5TB of solid-state capacity without external drives. If your workflow demands more internal space or a different drive layout, this unit will not match the requirement. The 32GB DDR4 memory and Quadro T1000 4GB GPU remain fixed alongside this storage arrangement.

Questions about this item

Will the 2.60 GHz Intel Core i7-9750H work with my existing DDR4 SODIMMs if I want to expand beyond the installed 32GB?

The laptop uses DDR4 memory and has two slots; one is occupied by the factory 32GB module, so you can add a matching DDR4 SODIMM in the second slot.

How can I verify the Quadro T1000 4GB is running at full performance after driver installation?

Open NVIDIA Control Panel, confirm the driver version matches the latest Quadro branch, and run the GPU stress test in Lenovo Vantage to ensure the 4GB frame buffer reports no errors.

Which accessories are included in the box and what must I buy separately?

The package contains the ThinkPad P53, an AC adapter, and a power cord; any docking station, external monitor cable, or extra storage drive must be purchased separately.
