Mobile workstation with ISV-certified graphics

The ThinkPad P53 combines an Intel Core i7-9750H six-core processor with an NVIDIA Quadro T1000 4GB GPU. 64GB of DDR4 memory supports large assemblies and multi-application workflows. Windows 10 Pro and a fingerprint reader provide enterprise-grade security out of the box.

Dual-drive layout separates OS from project data

A 256GB NVME drive holds the operating system and applications for fast boot and load times. A 4TB 2.5-inch SSD adds massive capacity for models, textures and datasets without external enclosures. Both drives are solid-state, so there are no moving parts to fail in transit.

15.6-inch FHD IPS panel at 72% colour gamut

The 1920 x 1080 anti-glare display reaches 300 nits and covers 72% of the gamut for consistent colour in CAD review. ISV certification on the Quadro T1000 ensures stability in SolidWorks, Revit and similar packages. Workloads that demand 10-bit colour, higher GPU memory or multi-GPU scaling will exceed this configuration.

Questions about this item

Will the 64GB DDR4 memory need to be upgraded later?

The 64GB DDR4 is soldered to the board and not user-upgradable, so no further memory maintenance is expected.

What limits the i7-9750H during long renders?

The 6-core i7-9750H will hit its thermal ceiling before the Quadro T1000 reaches its limit, so CPU throttling is the first sustained-use constraint.

How loud and hot does the P53 get when running all day?

Under continuous load the dual-fan cooling keeps the 15.6-inch chassis warm but within spec, and fan noise stays at a moderate office level.
