Workstation laptop with Quadro T2000

The Lenovo ThinkPad P53 is a 15.6 inch mobile workstation running Windows 10 Pro. It combines a six-core Intel Core i7-9850H processor with 32GB of DDR4 memory and an NVIDIA Quadro T2000 graphics card with 4GB of video memory. The FHD IPS display shows 1920 x 1080 resolution on a non-touch screen. Storage consists of a 1TB NVME drive plus a 2TB 2.5 inch SSD.

Suited for ISV-certified apps; not for gaming focus

This configuration suits engineers and designers who need certified drivers for professional 3D and compute applications. The Quadro T2000 supports ISV certification and 10-bit colour workflows on the 72% colour gamut panel. Buyers who want higher frame rates in games or ray-tracing acceleration should look elsewhere. The 300 nits brightness may limit outdoor visibility.

1TB NVME plus 2TB 2.5 inch SSD storage

The dual-drive layout provides a 1TB NVME boot volume and a separate 2TB 2.5 inch SSD for project files. This split keeps the operating system and active data on fast flash while giving 2TB of additional capacity on the same bus. Users who need a single larger NVME namespace or RAID across matched drives cannot achieve that with this factory configuration.

Questions about this item

What storage and memory are already installed in this ThinkPad P53?

The laptop ships with a 1TB NVME drive, a 2TB 2.5-inch SSD and 32GB of DDR4 RAM, so no extra storage or memory modules are required.

Which display version is fitted to this unit?

It has a 15.6-inch FHD IPS panel at 1920 x 1080 resolution, 300 nits brightness, 72% colour gamut and an anti-glare finish with no touch layer.

What does the 4.6 GHz turbo figure mean for everyday workloads?

The six-core i7-9850H can lift a single core to 4.6 GHz for short bursts, speeding up single-threaded tasks such as CAD model rebuilds or code compilation while the base clock handles sustained multi-core rendering.
