Mobile workstation with Linux Mint

The Lenovo ThinkPad P53 is a 15.6" mobile workstation running Linux Mint. It pairs a 2.60 GHz Intel Core i7-9850H hexa-core processor with 64GB DDR4 memory. Graphics are handled by an NVIDIA Quadro T1000 with 4GB video memory. Storage combines a 256GB NVME drive and a 4TB 2.5-inch SSD.

Suited for Linux-based engineering workloads

This machine suits developers and engineers who need a certified Linux environment with professional graphics drivers. The 72% colour-gamut IPS panel and ISV-certified Quadro GPU support CAD, simulation and data-science tasks. Buyers who require a touchscreen, higher GPU memory or a different operating system should look elsewhere.

64GB DDR4 memory capacity

The single specification that decides fit is the 64GB DDR4 memory capacity. It determines whether large assemblies, datasets or virtual machines can reside in RAM without paging. If the workload exceeds this limit, a system with higher memory support is required.
