Mobile workstation with Intel i7-9850H

This 15.6 inch Lenovo ThinkPad P53 is a mobile workstation built around a six-core Intel Core i7-9850H processor that reaches 4.6 GHz. It runs Linux Mint and includes a fingerprint reader for login security. The 1920 x 1080 IPS display uses anti-glare coating and covers 72 percent colour gamut at 300 nits brightness. Dolby Atmos speakers handle audio output.

Suits engineers needing certified graphics

The NVIDIA Quadro T1000 with 4 GB video memory targets CAD, 3D modelling and ISV-certified workflows on a single screen. Buyers who want touchscreen input, a higher refresh panel or a larger colour volume should look elsewhere. Systems without a discrete workstation GPU will not meet the same driver certification requirements.

Quadro T1000 4 GB GPU decides fit

The Quadro T1000 4 GB is the specification that determines whether this laptop matches the workload. It provides certified drivers for professional applications but does not scale to heavy GPU compute or multi-GPU rendering. If the project needs more video memory or a higher GPU tier, this unit will not be sufficient.

Questions about this item

Does the box include the charger and any cables, or must I buy a power adapter separately?

The unit ships with a power adapter and cord so you can charge the 15.6 inch FHD IPS display laptop right away; no separate power brick is required.

Should I choose the 512 GB NVME plus 1 TB HDD configuration or a smaller drive option?

This build already combines a 512 GB NVME drive with a 1 TB HDD, giving both fast boot space and bulk storage in one machine; no smaller drive variant is offered.

What does the 4.6 GHz turbo frequency mean for real workloads on the i7-9850H?

The six-core processor can reach 4.6 GHz on short bursts, speeding up compile jobs and CAD viewport rotation while the 64 GB DDR4 RAM keeps large assemblies in memory.
