Mobile workstation with Quadro graphics

The Lenovo ThinkPad P53s is a 15.6-inch mobile workstation built for professionals who need certified graphics on the move. It runs Windows 10 Pro on an Intel Core i7-8665U quad-core processor with a 4.8 GHz turbo frequency. The system includes 24 GB of DDR4 memory and a 256 GB NVMe solid-state drive.

IPS display and biometric security

The non-touch FHD panel uses IPS technology at 1920 x 1080 resolution with a 250-nit anti-glare finish. NVIDIA Quadro P520 graphics provide 2 GB of dedicated video memory for professional 3D applications. A fingerprint reader and discrete Trusted Platform Module handle biometric login and hardware-based encryption.

Verify memory and storage needs

This unit ships with 24 GB of RAM installed; the platform supports up to 48 GB if your workloads require more capacity. The single 256 GB NVMe drive may need supplementation for large project files or local datasets. Confirm that Windows 10 Pro meets your software licensing and support requirements before purchase.

Questions about this item

Does the 256 GB NVMe drive use a PCIe interface that limits throughput?

What physical space is required for the 15.6 inch FHD IPS panel?

The 15.6 inch chassis fits a 1920 x 1080 non‑touch IPS display at 250 nits brightness.

How is the 24 GB DDR4 memory installed, and which slot do people mismatch?

8 GB is soldered and 16 GB occupies the single SO‑DIMM slot; buyers often order a second stick that has nowhere to go.
