Mobile workstation for certified apps

The ThinkPad P71 is a 17.3" mobile workstation built for professionals who rely on ISV-certified software. Its Intel Core i7-7700HQ processor reaches 3.8 GHz across four cores, and the NVIDIA Quadro M620M with 2 GB VRAM drives 3D rendering and CAD viewports. Windows 7 Professional comes pre-installed for legacy application compatibility.

Hybrid drive capacity and 16 GB DDR4

The 1 TB hybrid drive combines magnetic storage with 8 GB of NAND flash to accelerate boot and frequent-file access, while 16 GB of DDR4-2400 memory supports large assemblies and multi-application workflows. Memory-intensive simulation or high-resolution texture work will exceed the installed RAM, and the single hybrid volume offers no separate high-speed scratch disk.

Spill-resistant keyboard and fingerprint security

A full-sized, spill-resistant keyboard with TrackPoint provides durable daily input, and the integrated fingerprint reader enables biometric login without passwords. The 17.3" FHD IPS anti-glare panel delivers 1920 x 1080 resolution for clear visuals in varied lighting. Buyers who need touch input or a higher-resolution display should consider other models.

How can I verify the NVIDIA Quadro M620M 2GB GPU is recognised and performing after I install drivers?
