Mobile workstation with dual storage

The Lenovo ThinkPad P71 is a 17.3 inch mobile workstation built around an Intel Core i7-7700HQ quad-core processor that reaches 3.80 GHz. It ships with 16 GB of DDR4 memory, a 256 GB PCIe NVMe SSD paired with a 1 TB hard drive, and an NVIDIA Quadro M620M graphics card with 2 GB of video memory. The 1920 x 1080 IPS display is non-touch and includes a fingerprint reader for authentication.

Suited for ISV-certified workflows.

This configuration targets professionals who rely on ISV-certified applications and require Windows 7 Professional for legacy compatibility. The dual-drive layout supports large project files alongside fast boot and application loading. Buyers who need a current operating system, higher GPU memory for larger models, or a touchscreen panel should evaluate other platforms.

Quadro M620M 2 GB GPU decides fit

The NVIDIA Quadro M620M with 2 GB of dedicated memory is the specification that determines whether this workstation matches your workload. It handles entry-level 3D CAD, rendering and multi-display setups certified by independent software vendors. If your applications demand more video memory or newer driver branches, this GPU will be the limiting factor.
