Mobile Workstation for ISV-Certified Apps

The ThinkPad P71 is a 17.3 inch mobile workstation aimed at professionals who rely on ISV-certified applications. Its Intel Core i7-7700HQ processor reaches 3.80 GHz turbo frequency with four cores and 6 MB L3 cache. Sixteen gigabytes of DDR4 memory at 2400 MHz and a 500 GB SSD provide capacity for large datasets and multitasking.

Sustained Performance Under Load

The Quadro M620M GPU with 2 GB VRAM is certified for over 100 independent software vendor applications, ensuring stable drivers during extended 3D rendering or simulation sessions. Quad-core architecture and 6 MB L2 cache help maintain throughput when all cores run at high frequency for long periods. Windows 7 Professional 64-bit remains the installed operating system.

Build Quality and Daily Connectivity

A spill-resistant full-size keyboard with TrackPoint pointing device supports comfortable all-day input. Fingerprint reader and secure chip add hardware-based authentication without extra peripherals. Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 8265 delivers wireless connectivity, while the 17.3 inch FHD IPS anti-glare panel at 1920 x 1080 reduces reflections in bright environments.
