Mobile workstation with dual storage

The Lenovo ThinkPad P71 is a 17.3 inch mobile workstation running Windows 7 Professional. It combines an Intel Core i7-7700HQ processor with 32GB DDR4 memory at 2400 MHz. Storage consists of a 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD paired with a 1TB hard disk drive. The 1920 x 1080 IPS display and NVIDIA Quadro M620M graphics target professional applications.

Suits certified-app users, not modern-OS buyers

This system suits engineers and designers who rely on ISV-certified software validated on the P71 platform. The Quadro M620M and quad-core CPU handle 3D rendering and multi-task workflows within that certified stack. Buyers who need a current operating system or driver support for recent APIs should look elsewhere, as Windows 7 Pro is no longer updated.

Quad-core 3.8 GHz CPU drives certified workloads

The Intel Core i7-7700HQ reaches 3.80 GHz turbo frequency across four cores with 6 MB L3 cache. This clock speed and core count determine how quickly the workstation completes the ISV-certified tasks the P71 is qualified for. If your workload demands higher core counts or newer instruction sets, this processor will not meet that requirement.
