Mobile workstation for ISV-certified apps

The ThinkPad P71 is a 17.3-inch mobile workstation built for professionals who rely on ISV-certified applications. Its Intel Core i7-7700HQ processor reaches 3.80 GHz turbo frequency across four cores. Windows 7 Professional and a fingerprint reader support legacy software environments and secure login.

Quadro M620M with 2 GB VRAM

The single specification that decides fit is the NVIDIA Quadro M620M graphics card with 2 GB of dedicated video memory. This GPU targets entry-level CAD, DCC and visualization workloads that require certified drivers. It is not suited for GPU-heavy rendering, deep-learning training or modern real-time ray-tracing pipelines.

4 TB SSD and 8 GB DDR4 at 2400 MHz

The 4 TB solid-state drive provides extensive local storage for large project files, datasets and multiple OS images. Eight gigabytes of DDR4 memory at 2400 MHz handles typical office multitasking and moderate 3D scenes. Memory-intensive simulations, high-poly modelling or virtual-machine clusters will exceed the available RAM headroom.
