14-inch FHD IPS touchscreen ultrabook

This 14.0-inch laptop combines a 1920 x 1080 IPS touch display with a 10th Gen Intel Core i7-10510U quad-core processor reaching 4.40 GHz turbo frequency. It ships with Windows 11 Pro, 8 GB of DDR4 2666 memory and a 1 TB M.2 2242 SSD. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics uses shared system memory.

Dual USB-C 3.2 plus Thunderbolt 3 and RJ-45

The chassis provides two USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 ports, one USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port with Thunderbolt 3 support, HDMI 1.4b video output and a Gigabit Ethernet jack. Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth handle wireless links. A single SO-DIMM slot allows memory expansion up to 48 GB while the 2242-length drive bay limits future storage upgrades.

Replaces older 14-inch business laptops lacking

Buyers moving from machines without USB-C charging or single-cable docking gain a modern port array and touchscreen input. The jump is worthwhile when the 1 TB drive and 48 GB memory ceiling meet workload needs; those requiring discrete graphics, larger screens or multiple 2.5-inch drive bays should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

What does the Thunderbolt 3 port cap at for data transfer?

The single Thunderbolt 3 port runs at USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 speeds, so external storage and docks are limited to 10 Gbps in practice.

What physical clearance does the M.2 2242 slot require for a storage upgrade?

The laptop accepts one M.2 2242 drive (22 mm wide, 42 mm long); longer 2280 modules will not fit the slot.

How is the RAM upgrade performed and which step is often missed?

Remove the bottom cover, insert a DDR4 2666 SO-DIMM into the single free slot, then re-seat the battery connector before closing the case.
