ThinkPad T14 Gen 1 Touchscreen Ultrabook

The Lenovo ThinkPad T14 Gen 1 is a 14.0 inch FHD IPS touchscreen laptop powered by a 10th Gen Intel Core i5-10310U quad-core processor reaching 4.40 GHz turbo. It ships with 16 GB DDR4 2666 memory and a 2 TB SSD running Windows 11 Pro. This configuration suits professionals who need pen or finger input on a colour-accurate panel for mobile productivity.

Before ordering verify your workflow

Confirm that integrated Intel UHD Graphics with shared system memory meets your visual workload, because no discrete GPU is present. The memory uses one soldered 8 GB module plus one 8 GB stick in the single slot, leaving zero free slots for further expansion beyond the 48 GB maximum. Check that Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth cover your wireless needs and that the single HDMI 1.4b port satisfies external display requirements.

Build integration and expansion

Two USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 ports and one USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 Thunderbolt 3 port handle docking, power and high-speed peripherals. A Gigabit RJ-45 Ethernet jack provides wired networking without a dongle. The 3.5 mm combo audio jack supports headsets. The M.2 2242 storage form factor limits future drive choices to that length. Side docking connector and optional smart card or WWAN modules add enterprise flexibility.

Questions about this item

Does the 16 GB DDR4 2666 memory leave any slot free for an upgrade?

The 16 GB is configured as 8 GB onboard plus one 8 GB module, filling the single available slot, so no further memory can be added without replacing the existing module.

Which SSD capacity matches the 2 TB drive listed in the title?

The unit ships with a 2 TB M.2 2242 SSD already installed, matching the capacity shown in the product name.

How does the Intel UHD Graphics with shared memory perform on the 1920 x 1080 touchscreen?

The integrated graphics uses system RAM for video memory, which is adequate for office applications and video playback on the 14.0" FHD IPS panel but not intended for demanding 3D workloads.
