14-inch WUXGA ultraportable

The Lenovo ThinkPad T14s Gen 3 is a 14.0-inch laptop with a 1920x1200 non-touch display. It targets mobile professionals who need Windows 11 Pro on a 3.56 kg chassis powered by an Intel Core i5-1245U processor with 10 cores and 12 threads.

Soldered memory and fixed storage

The 16GB LPDDR5-4800 RAM is soldered to the board and cannot be upgraded after purchase. The 256 GB SSD is the only internal drive bay, so storage expansion relies on external Thunderbolt 4 or USB 3.1 devices.

Check Thunderbolt 4 dock and port needs

Verify that your existing monitors, docks and peripherals work with two Thunderbolt 4 ports, two USB 3.1 Type-A ports, HDMI and a headset jack. The laptop lacks an Ethernet jack, a card reader and a second internal drive slot.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the 12th Gen Intel Core i5-1245U is running at its 4.4 GHz turbo speed after setup?

Open Task Manager, select the Performance tab and watch the CPU frequency climb toward 4.4 GHz while a heavy workload runs; the 10-core, 12-thread processor should hit that ceiling when thermals allow.

What ships in the box and what must I source separately for the 14" WUXGA ThinkPad T14s Gen 3?

The package includes the laptop with its 1920 x 1200 non-touch display, Windows 11 Pro pre-installed, and the bundled USB-C power adapter; external monitors, docks or USB-A hubs are not supplied.

Which configuration should I choose if I need 16 GB LPDDR5-4800 memory and a 256 GB SSD on this model?

This exact part number ships with 16 GB of soldered LPDDR5-4800 RAM and a 256 GB solid-state drive; both are fixed, so no other capacity variant exists for this SKU.
