Compact 14-inch Windows 10 Pro laptop

The Lenovo ThinkPad T450 is a 14.0-inch laptop with an Intel Core i5-4300U dual-core processor at 1.90 GHz, 8 GB of RAM and a 256 GB drive. It ships with Windows 10 Pro 64-bit, an AC power cord and a battery. The unit is sold new and graded Condition Code B, meaning it is used but tested operational with possible minor cosmetic flaws.

Suits mobile office work, not heavy workloads

This configuration suits professionals who need a lightweight 14-inch device for email, document editing and web browsing on Windows 10 Pro. Buyers who want more storage, more memory or a newer processor architecture should look at something else. The integrated graphics and dual-core design limit video editing, modern gaming and multi-threaded development tasks.

Dual-core 1.90 GHz processor decides fit

The Intel Core i5-4300U dual-core processor running at 1.90 GHz is the single specification that determines whether this laptop matches the workload. It provides enough throughput for typical office applications and light multitasking. Workloads that require higher sustained multi-core performance will not run well on this silicon.

Questions about this item

How loud or hot does the Core i5-4300U get when the ThinkPad T450 runs all day?

The dual-core 1.90 GHz processor is a low-power design, so the 14-inch chassis stays cool and quiet during typical office workloads.

What must I already own to start using this T450 right away?

The package includes the AC power cord and battery, so only a Windows 10 Pro licence is needed — and that is already installed.

Will my existing 14-inch ThinkPad dock work with this T450?

The 14.0-inch form factor matches earlier T-series models, so most legacy mechanical docks for 14-inch ThinkPads will still connect.
