The Lenovo ThinkPad T450 ships with Windows 10 Home 64-Bit, an Intel Core i5-5300U processor at 2.30 GHz, 16 GB of DDR3L memory and a 512 GB SATA SSD. A 14.0 in non-touch display and integrated graphics handle everyday office applications. The package includes a webcam, Wi-Fi and an AC adapter. Condition is graded C, meaning cosmetic wear such as scratches or minor dents may be present while the system remains fully functional.

Suits mobile workers needing a lightweight Windows

This unit fits professionals who want a durable 14.0 in chassis with 16 GB of RAM and solid-state storage for document workloads and video calls. Buyers who require a touchscreen, Bluetooth connectivity or a discrete graphics card for creative rendering or gaming should consider other models. The Grade C cosmetic condition also makes it unsuitable for anyone expecting a pristine exterior.

512 GB SATA SSD defines storage speed and capacity

The 2.5 in SATA solid-state drive delivers 512 GB of space with faster boot and load times than a mechanical hard drive. Memory is fixed at 16 GB DDR3L with no expansion headroom. Integrated graphics share system memory, so performance scales with the installed RAM.

Questions about this item

Can the 16GB DDR3L memory be upgraded later?

The system already reaches its 16GB maximum supported memory so no further RAM upgrade is possible.

What limits sustained performance first on the i5-5300U?

The dual-core 2.30GHz processor will hit its thermal ceiling before the 512GB SATA SSD becomes a bottleneck.

How loud and hot does it get when running all day?

The SSD has no moving parts so there is no drive noise; the CPU fan will spin up under continuous load but the unit stays within normal laptop temperatures.
