Questions about this item

How does the 2.6 GHz base and 3.4 GHz boost clock of the i7-6600U feel in everyday workloads?

The dual-core CPU runs at 2.6 GHz normally and can reach 3.4 GHz for short bursts, so office apps and web browsing stay snappy while heavier tasks hit the thermal ceiling quickly.

What practical speed limit does the USB 3.1 Gen 1 interface impose on external drives?

The three Type-A ports and the single Type-C port share a 5 Gb/s ceiling, capping real-world transfers well below the internal NVMe drive's potential.

What drive form factor and length does the internal slot accept for a storage upgrade?

The laptop uses an M.2 2280 slot with PCIe NVMe signalling, so any standard 80 mm NVMe stick will fit without adapters.
