14-inch FHD touchscreen ultrabook

The Lenovo ThinkPad T480s is a 14.0-inch Full HD IPS touchscreen laptop powered by an 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8650U quad-core processor. It comes with 24 GB of DDR4 RAM and a 128 GB SSD running Windows 11 Pro. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 handles visual output on the 1920 x 1080 display.

Upgrade from dual-core or 8 GB systems

Moving from a dual-core machine or one limited to 8 GB of memory brings four cores with eight threads and a 4.20 GHz turbo frequency. The 24 GB DDR4 configuration removes bottlenecks for heavy multitasking and virtual machines. The jump is worth it when your current laptop stalls on concurrent workloads or cannot fit your active dataset in memory.

Suits mobile professionals needing touch and memory

This configuration suits users who need a portable 14-inch touchscreen with 24 GB of RAM for office applications, browser-heavy workflows and light creative tasks. Buyers who require a discrete GPU for rendering or gaming should look elsewhere. Those needing more than 128 GB of internal storage without adding an external drive should consider a different capacity.
