Business laptop with Windows 7 Pro

The Lenovo ThinkPad T480s is a 14.0-inch mainstream laptop running Windows 7 Professional. It pairs an Intel Core i5-8250U processor at 1.60 GHz with 12 GB of DDR4 memory and a 1 TB NVMe solid-state drive. The matte IPS panel shows 1920 x 1080 resolution.

Suits legacy-software users.

This machine suits professionals who must run 64-bit Windows 7 applications and value the ThinkPad UltraNav pointing system, fingerprint reader and 4-in-1 card reader. Buyers who need a currently supported operating system or newer Bluetooth versions should look elsewhere.

1 TB NVMe SSD defines storage speed

The single specification that decides fit is the 1 TB NVMe solid-state drive, which delivers the rapid boot and load times that distinguish this configuration from models equipped with slower storage technologies.
