Business ultraportable for mobile professionals

The Lenovo ThinkPad T480s is a 14-inch laptop built for frequent travel and office work. It ships new with Windows 10 Pro and a matte IPS display. The Intel Core i7-8650U processor reaches 4.2 GHz for demanding workloads. Security features include a fingerprint reader and webcam cover.

Soldered 12 GB DDR4 memory cannot be upgraded

The system provides 12 GB of DDR4 RAM fixed to the motherboard. No SO-DIMM slot exists for expansion. Buyers who need more memory must choose a different model. The 500 GB SSD is the only user-replaceable storage component.

One removable bottom panel gives SSD access

Removing six screws releases the cover for drive replacement. The battery is internal and not hot-swappable. Reassembly requires care with the fragile antenna cables near the hinge. Thunderbolt 3 uses a USB-C port that also handles charging.
