This Lenovo ThinkPad T480s is a refurbished 14.0-inch ultrabook that runs Windows 10 Pro on an Intel Core i7-8650U quad-core processor at 1.90 GHz. It ships with 16 GB of DDR4 memory and a 256 GB PCIe SSD. The FHD IPS panel supports touch input at 1920 x 1080 resolution and is driven by integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620.

Connectivity and expansion for mobile workflows

Two USB Type-C ports handle Power Delivery, DisplayPort output and data transfer alongside two USB 3.1 Gen1 ports, one of which stays powered for charging peripherals. An HDMI connector adds a second external display option. Wireless networking uses Wi-Fi 4.1 and Bluetooth 4.1, while the integrated webcam supports video calls without extra hardware.

Suited for office and light creative work.

The integrated graphics and 16 GB memory ceiling suit general productivity, web browsing and media playback. Buyers who need discrete graphics performance, more than 16 GB of RAM or larger internal storage should consider other configurations. Questions about this item

Does the Intel Core i7-8650U throttle under sustained heavy workloads?

The quad-core i7-8650U runs at 1.90 GHz base frequency with Intel UHD Graphics 620; sustained loads will hit thermal limits before the 8 MB L2 cache saturates.

How loud and hot does the T480s get during an all-day work session?

Integrated UHD 620 graphics and the 14.0" IPS touchscreen draw modest power so fan noise stays low and surface temperatures remain comfortable for typical office use.

Which cables or peripherals must I already own to use the video outputs and USB-C charging?

You need an HDMI cable for external displays and a USB-C Power Delivery charger or dock; the laptop provides two USB-C ports with DisplayPort alt-mode and two USB 3.1 Gen1 ports.
