Business ultraportable with 1 TB storage

The Lenovo ThinkPad T480s is a 14 inch laptop built for mobile professionals who need a secure, manageable Windows 7 Professional environment. It combines an Intel Core i7-8550U processor with 16 GB of DDR4 memory and a 1 TB SSD in a chassis weighing between 2 and 2.9 lbs. The matte IPS display and integrated fingerprint reader support daily office workflows.

Thunderbolt 3 at 40 Gbps and USB-C limits

A single Thunderbolt 3 port provides up to 40 Gbps of bandwidth for data and dual video streams while also delivering power. The remaining USB ports operate at slower speeds, so high-throughput peripherals must share the one Thunderbolt connection. Bluetooth 4.1 handles short-range accessories, but the platform does not support newer wireless standards.

Windows 7 Professional 64-bit operating system

This unit ships with Windows 7 Pro 64-bit pre-installed, which determines software compatibility and security-update status. Buyers who require a currently supported OS or specific modern enterprise features should plan for an immediate upgrade. The 64-bit architecture allows full use of the installed 16 GB memory.
