Business-Ready Laptop

The Lenovo ThinkPad T570 is a 15.6-inch business laptop built around an Intel Core i7-6600U processor with a maximum turbo frequency of 3.4 GHz. It ships with 16 GB of DDR4 memory and a 512 GB solid-state drive. The matte IPS display renders 1920 x 1080 resolution without touch input. Windows 7 Professional comes pre-installed for immediate deployment.

Military-Tested Chassis

Every unit passes 12 military-grade durability tests and more than 200 quality checks, so the black chassis resists the bumps and bruises of daily travel. Four USB ports and a USB-C connector with Thunderbolt 3 support provide up to 40 Gbps of bandwidth for data and video. Bluetooth 4.1 handles wireless peripherals, while the fingerprint reader and integrated webcam enable secure sign-in and conferencing. The ThinkPad UltraNav touchpad and keyboard complete the input experience.

SSD Speed and OS Limits

The solid-state drive delivers sequential transfers around 200 MB/s, roughly three times faster booting and 30 percent quicker file opens than a mechanical drive. Windows 7 Professional no longer receives security updates, so organisations must plan for an operating-system upgrade to maintain compliance. The 16 GB memory ceiling and single 512 GB drive may restrict users who need larger local datasets or heavier multitasking headroom.

What physical space and connector does the 512GB SSD need to fit this laptop?

The 512GB SSD uses the internal M.2 slot; no 2.5-inch bay is present because HDD is listed as No.
