ThinkPad T570 15.6" FHD laptop for mobile

The Lenovo ThinkPad T570 is a 15.6-inch laptop with a 1920 x 1080 IPS display. It runs on a 7th Gen Intel Core i5-7300U dual-core processor with 16 GB DDR4 RAM and a 1TB SSD. Windows 10 Pro comes pre-installed. It suits professionals who need a reliable Windows machine for office applications and travel.

Military-tested chassis with HDMI.

Every unit passes 12 military-grade tests and over 200 quality checks for durability. The black chassis provides HDMI output, three USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports and one USB Type-C port for daily peripheral connections. Integrated Intel HD Graphics 620 drives the non-touch FHD panel. Wi-Fi 4 and Bluetooth handle wireless duties.

Integrated graphics and 7th Gen platform set

The Intel HD Graphics 620 limits the system to light visual tasks and video playback. The i5-7300U reaches 3.50 GHz turbo but remains a dual-core 7th Gen part, so heavy multi-threaded workloads will wait. The 1TB SSD offers solid-state speed without mechanical noise. Buyers who need discrete GPU power or newer CPU architecture should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

What devices can I connect through the USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports and what is the practical speed limit?

The three USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports support up to 5 Gbps and work with standard USB-A peripherals such as mice, keyboards, flash drives and external hard drives.

What physical clearance does the 15.6" chassis need for the side ports and ventilation?

The 15.6" body has three USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports, one USB Type-C port, HDMI and a combo audio jack on the sides; leave a few centimetres at the rear and right edge for airflow and cable bend radius.

How do I perform a clean Windows 10 Pro installation and which step is commonly missed?

Boot from a Windows 10 Pro USB stick, choose Custom install, delete existing partitions on the 1TB SSD, then install; the step often missed is re-enabling BitLocker and installing Lenovo Vantage drivers after setup.
