ThinkPad X1 Carbon 14" touchscreen

The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon 20XW004CUS is a 14-inch touchscreen laptop built for mobile professionals. It ships with Windows 10 Pro and a quad-core Intel Core i5-1145G7 processor. The configuration targets business users who need a responsive display and reliable daily performance.

Capacity and headroom

Sixteen gigabytes of memory and a 512 GB SSD provide smooth multitasking and fast boot times for typical office workloads. Heavy video editing or large dataset analysis will exhaust the memory ceiling and storage space quickly. Buyers who need more storage or higher core counts should consider other configurations.

Quad-core i5-1145G7 processor

The Intel Core i5-1145G7 delivers four cores and eight threads for mainstream productivity tasks. Its integrated graphics handle standard business applications and video playback without a discrete GPU. Workloads requiring sustained multi-core rendering or dedicated graphics acceleration will exceed this processor's capability.

Questions about this item

Will the 14-inch touchscreen and i5-1145G7 work with my existing USB-C dock and external monitors?

The system runs Windows 10 Pro on an 11th Gen Intel Core i5-1145G7 with 16 GB memory, so it supports modern USB-C video and data protocols used by current docks.

How can I verify the quad-core processor and 512 GB SSD are performing correctly after first boot?

Open Task Manager to confirm four cores and eight threads are visible, then check Settings > System > Storage to see the 512 GB drive reported as healthy.

Does the box include a stylus or do I need to buy one separately for the touch screen?

The supplied unit ships with the laptop, power adapter and documentation only; an active pen is not included and must be purchased separately.
