ThinkPad X1 Carbon 5 with 4G LTE

The ThinkPad X1 Carbon 5 is a 14-inch mainstream laptop built for mobile professionals who need integrated cellular connectivity. It ships new with Windows 7 Professional and a carbon-fibre reinforced chassis that meets twelve military-grade requirements and passes more than two hundred durability tests.

Thunderbolt 3 USB-C at 40 Gbps

The single Thunderbolt 3 port provides up to 40 Gbps of bandwidth for data and video while also charging the system through USB-C. Bluetooth 4.1 handles short-range peripherals, and four USB ports in total cover legacy accessories without needing a dock.

Soldered 8 GB memory decides upgrade path

The 8 GB of RAM is not expandable, so buyers who need more memory for virtual machines or large datasets must choose a different model. The 1 TB NVMe SSD and 4G LTE WWAN card are the other fixed specifications that define whether this unit fits the workflow.
