Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon G12 14" Ultrabook

The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon G12 is a 14 inch ultrabook built for mobile professionals who value low weight and a carbon-fibre chassis. It ships with Windows 11 Pro, 32 GB of LPDDR5x memory and a 1 TB solid-state drive. The Intel Ultra 7 165U processor and integrated Intel Graphics handle everyday productivity workloads.

Suits frequent travellers, not heavy GPU users

This laptop suits frequent travellers who need a 2.4 kg device with a 14.0 inch 1920 x 1200 non-touch display, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and a webcam. Buyers who need discrete graphics performance for rendering, gaming or compute workloads should look elsewhere because only integrated graphics are present. The fixed 32 GB memory also means no user upgrades are possible.

32 GB LPDDR5x memory is soldered

The single specification that decides fit is the 32 GB LPDDR5x memory, which is soldered and cannot be expanded after purchase. If your workflow regularly exceeds this capacity, this model will not meet the need. The 1 TB SSD provides storage for large local files, while the chassis uses 90 percent recycled magnesium and post-consumer recycled content.
