ThinkPad X1 Yoga 1st Gen convertible

This Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga 20FQ0036US is a 14.0-inch 2-in-1 laptop built for business users who need a portable device with pen and touch input. It ships new with Windows 10 Pro 64-Bit and includes a fingerprint reader for secure sign-in.

Suits mobile professionals needing inking and touch

The dual-core Intel Core i7-6600U with 4 MB L3 cache and 8 GB onboard LPDDR3 1866 memory handles office workloads and web apps. Buyers who need user-replaceable memory or a discrete GPU for heavy rendering should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How does the 3.4 GHz turbo frequency perform in everyday workloads?

The dual-core Skylake processor reaches 3.4 GHz on short bursts, giving snappy response for office apps and web browsing while the 4 MB L3 cache keeps frequent data close.

What does the Mini DisplayPort and HDMI combination allow for external monitors?

You can drive two external displays simultaneously — one through Mini DisplayPort and one through HDMI — both running at their native resolutions.

Will the 13.11 by 9.02 inch footprint fit in a standard 14-inch laptop sleeve?

Yes, the chassis measures 13.11 by 9.02 inches and is only .66 inches thick, so it slides into any sleeve sized for a 14-inch ultrabook.
