12.5-inch touch laptop for mobile professionals

The Lenovo ThinkPad X220 combines a 12.5-inch HD touch display with an Intel Core i5-2520M processor reaching 3.20 GHz turbo frequency. It ships with 16GB DDR3 memory and a 1TB SSD running Windows 10 Pro 64-bit. The 1366x768 touchscreen supports pen input for precise annotation and navigation on the go.

Check power connector and display outputs

Verify that your existing 20 V ThinkPad charger uses the rectangular tip compatible with the X220 series. External monitors require either a VGA cable or a DisplayPort connection matching the two video ports provided. The 10/100/1000 Mbps LAN port and 802.11b/g/n wireless adapter handle wired and wireless networks without extra hardware.

Pen and docking expand input and desk setup

The included active pen enables pressure-sensitive writing directly on the touchscreen for notes and sketches. A single docking connector lets the laptop snap into compatible ThinkPad docks, instantly adding extra USB ports, video outputs and wired LAN at a shared desk. Windows 10 Pro adds BitLocker encryption and domain join for managed IT environments.
