It ships with 16GB DDR3 memory and a 1TB hard drive running Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit. The black magnesium-alloy frame meets premium durability standards and includes an Active Protection System for drive safety. A redesigned hinge adds stronger magnetic latching while the full-size ThinkPad keyboard offers industry-leading typing comfort. Connectivity covers three USB ports, VGA, DisplayPort, Gigabit LAN, 802.11b/g/n wireless and a proprietary docking connector shared with T, L and W series models for common desk setups.

Enhanced Audio Tools For Calls

Dual-microphone arrays support Private Chat mode to suppress background noise and Conference Call mode to capture room-wide audio.
