Lenovo V15 Gen 2 Celeron N4500 laptop

The Lenovo V15 Gen 2 is a 15.6 inch business laptop running Windows 11 Home. It uses a 10th Gen Intel Celeron N4500 dual-core processor with a 2.8 GHz turbo frequency and 4MB cache. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics drive the 1920 x 1080 anti-glare TN panel at 60Hz. The system includes 8GB DDR4 memory and a 256GB 2242 PCIe NVMe SSD.

Suits basic office and study tasks.

This configuration suits students and office workers needing a reliable device for web browsing, document editing and video calls. The 8GB DDR4 RAM and 256GB NVMe SSD handle everyday multitasking and fast boot times. Buyers who want more storage, higher memory capacity or a dedicated graphics card for creative applications should look at something else. The 2-cell 38 WHr battery and 45W power supply support mobile use.

256GB 2242 PCIe NVMe SSD form factor

The single specification that decides fit is the 256GB 2242 PCIe NVMe SSD form factor. This drive uses the shorter 2242 length rather than the more common 2280 size, so future storage upgrades must match this specific dimension. The laptop provides one USB 2.0 port, one USB 3.2 Type-C port, HDMI, RJ-45 Ethernet and a headphone/microphone combo jack for connectivity.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 256GB 2242 PCIe NVMe SSD and what step do people get wrong?

The 2242-length drive slots into the M.2 key-M connector at a shallow angle, then is secured with a single screw; the common error is using a 2280 standoff position, which leaves the shorter drive floating.

What maintenance or replacement will the 2-cell 38 WHr battery need later?

The internal 2-cell 38 WHr pack is not user-swappable; once runtime drops below your needs, a technician must open the base to replace the battery assembly.

What limit appears first on the Celeron N4500 during sustained loads?

The dual-core 6 W processor hits its thermal ceiling quickly, so clocks throttle from 2.8 GHz to base 1.10 GHz within minutes of continuous work.
