Ready-to-use 14.0" business laptop

This Lenovo X1 Carbon 4th Gen runs Windows 10 Pro 64-bit on an Intel Core i7-6600U dual-core processor at 2.60GHz with 8GB of memory and a 256GB SSD. The 14.0" FHD screen shows 1920 X 1080 resolution through integrated Intel HD Graphics 520. A webcam is included for video calls.

Cosmetic Grade B with wear visible

Buyers who accept surface scratches, dents on the chassis, keyboard wear or minor screen marks that do not affect viewing will find this unit functional and covered by a one-year warranty. Those who need a pristine appearance or a laptop without any cosmetic imperfections should look elsewhere.

Soldered 8GB memory cannot be upgraded

The 8GB of system memory is fixed and not expandable, so the machine suits workloads that stay within that limit. Buyers who need more memory for heavier multitasking or virtual machines must choose a different model.

Questions about this item

How loud or hot does the X1 Carbon 4th Gen get when the i7-6600U runs at 2.60 GHz all day?

The dual-core Skylake chip has a low thermal design power, so the fan stays quiet and the carbon-fibre chassis stays cool during typical office workloads.

What must I already own to use the 14.0" FHD display at 1920 x 1080 with this laptop?

Nothing extra — the panel is built in and driven by the integrated Intel HD Graphics 520, so the 1920 x 1080 resolution works out of the box.

Will my older USB-A peripherals work with the X1 Carbon 4th Gen running Windows 10 Pro 64-bit?

Yes — Windows 10 Pro 64-bit includes native drivers for standard USB-A devices, so legacy mice, keyboards and drives connect without adapters.
