Copilot+ Laptop with Snapdragon X Elite

This Lenovo Yoga Slim 7x runs Windows 11 Home on the Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite X1E-78-100 processor with 12 cores and 40 MB cache. It includes 32 GB of onboard LPDDR5X memory and a 1 TB PCIe NVMe SSD. The 14.5-inch OLED touchscreen delivers a 2944x1840 resolution at 60 Hz in Cosmic Blue.

Thermals Noise and Power Draw in Normal Use

The 4-cell 70 WHr battery pairs with a 65 W USB-C power supply for efficient daily operation. Integrated Qualcomm Adreno graphics share system memory, keeping heat and fan activity low during typical productivity tasks. Wi-Fi 802.11be and Bluetooth 5.4 maintain connectivity without adding thermal load.

Sustained Load Behaviour

Under continuous multi-threaded workloads the 3.4 GHz turbo frequency runs across 12 threads while the chassis manages heat passively where possible. The 0.7-inch profile limits sustained fan speed, so performance settles at a steady level rather than peaking briefly. Onboard LPDDR5X bandwidth remains consistent throughout extended sessions.

Questions about this item

How do I install the Dockztorm wireless mouse that comes with the laptop?

Insert the USB receiver into a Type-C port, power on the mouse, and Windows 11 Home will pair it automatically.

What maintenance will the 70 WHr battery need over time?

The 4-cell battery is sealed inside the chassis; when capacity drops below usable levels, a technician must replace the entire pack.

At what point does the 60 Hz OLED panel become the bottleneck during long work sessions?

The 60 Hz refresh rate caps motion clarity before the Snapdragon X Elite X1E-78-100 or 32 GB LPDDR5X memory reach their sustained limits.
