It shields the barrel from scrapes, bumps and weather while a Realtree Max4 pattern breaks up the outline for wildlife work. Clear plastic windows sit over the VR switch, focus limiter and distance scale so settings stay readable and accessible. An optional Velcro piece covers the fixed barrel section when the zoom is fully extended.

Neoprene protection limits

The material adds a thermal buffer against hot and cold conditions but it is not a hard case and will not stop heavy impact or deep water immersion. Fabric seams and window edges can snag on branches if pulled aggressively. The cover must be removed for filter changes or tripod-collar adjustments that sit beneath the sleeve. It does not replace a dedicated rain guard or padded bag for transport.

Installation notes
