LEOPO 8-Inch Folding Brackets, 2 Pack

These black steel brackets fold flat against the wall to create a temporary work surface or shelf in garages, workshops, motorhomes, or boats. A built-in hinge locks the arm automatically when opened and releases with a lever press. Mounting screws and anchors are supplied, while the wood board is not included.

Suits DIYers adding a drop-down bench.

The foldable design serves occasional-use tables, potting benches, or laundry folding stations where floor space is limited. Buyers who need a fixed shelf rated for constant heavy storage should consider rigid brackets instead. Installation requires aligning the brackets with wall studs or 25/32 mm radius pipes for secure mounting.

8-inch arm length sets maximum shelf depth

Each bracket extends 8 inches from the wall, defining the deepest board you can support. The baked black paint finish resists scratches and corrosion in damp environments. Two brackets per pack provide a pair for a single table project.

Questions about this item

Will the hinge or lock mechanism on these 8 inch brackets need lubrication or replacement over time?

The integrated hinge and locking lever are built into the steel bracket; no lubrication schedule or replacement interval is specified by the manufacturer.

What stops the bracket from folding down when a heavy load is placed on the 8 inch shelf?

An automatic lock engages when the bracket is opened fully, and the lever must be pressed to release it; the bracket is rated for 25 mm or 32 mm pipe mounting.

Does the black baked paint finish discolour or radiate noticeable heat when the bracket supports a workbench all day?

The resilient baked black paint is designed for corrosion and scratch resistance; no heat emission or discolouration under continuous load is mentioned.
