Leviton T5825-E 20A 125V Tamper-Resistant Decora Duplex Receptacle Black

Leviton 20A Decora Duplex Receptacle

The Leviton T5825-E is a 20 amp, 125 volt tamper-resistant Decora duplex receptacle in black. It is built for residential wiring where a NEMA 5-20R outlet is required. The impact-resistant thermoplastic body suits homes, offices and schools. It coordinates with the wider Decora device range.

Sustained load behaviour

Rated for 20 amps continuous at 125 volts, the receptacle handles steady household loads without overheating. The side-wired terminals maintain a secure connection under daily use. Tamper-resistant shutters stay effective over the product life. The thermoplastic construction resists impact in busy areas.

Installation notes

Side-wired only terminals accept solid or stranded conductors for straightforward hook-up. The Decora form fits standard wall boxes and matches existing Decora plates. Tamper-resistant shutters need firm, even pressure to open; very stiff cords can feel tight at first. No back-wire option is provided on this model.
